Brandon is a husband, father, and problem-solver who cares deeply about people and the work he does. Living with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder Level 1, Brandon has always known his strengths. What he needed was support in communicating those strengths in ways others could understand.
Before connecting with Independence, Inc., communication challenges were creating barriers at work and at home. Reading social cues, navigating conversations, and showing care in ways that felt natural to others often took extra effort. Over time, those challenges began to limit the growth Brandon wanted for himself and his family.
When Brandon reached out to Independence, Inc., he was ready for change. Through one-on-one support, he worked on practical communication skills like body language, conversational timing, and real-world practice. The focus wasn’t on fixing him, but on giving him tools and space to build confidence and take control of his own goals.
The impact was immediate. Brandon began experiencing stronger connections at work, more effective communication at home, and greater confidence in difficult conversations. During a stressful period that included a move and medical recovery, these skills helped him ask for support and stay connected with his family.
Today, Brandon is moving forward with clarity and confidence. He’s exploring new career opportunities, considering starting a small business, and building relationships in ways that feel authentic to him.
Brandon’s message to others is simple: growth takes practice, and support matters. When people are given the right tools and the freedom to move at their own pace, real change is possible.
At Independence, Inc., we believe in meeting people where they are and supporting them as they build the lives they want.
