About the Event
The winter blues are especially challenging this year! It’s below freezing, overcast and we’re still in the midst of a pandemic. Independence, Inc. is here to help North Dakotans with disabilities fight seasonal depression exacerbated by isolation. Join our agency for a virtual Valentine’s Day-themed mental health activity designed to relieve stress and boost your mood! The workshop will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021, from 4-5 PM via Zoom.
The class is FREE and available to anyone with a physical disability, mental health condition, substance abuse disorder, chronic illness, degenerative disease, learning or cognitive disability, phobia, brain injury, or senior.
Participants will be provided with a Valentine's Day DIY Candy Bouquet Kit delivered directly to their homes.
Registration is required as class space and supplies are limited. The registration deadline is Friday, February 5th, or until spots are filled.
Note: Supplies are intended for class use only. Registrants are expected to log-in and participate in the virtual art lesson via Zoom. If you receive a bouquet kit and are unable to fulfill the participation requirement, you may be obligated to pay a fee of $12 to cover the cost of supplies or return the kit.
