Peer Support Group

Our Peer Support Group events provide a safe, welcoming space for individuals with disabilities to connect, share experiences, and build meaningful relationships. Each gathering features a different theme or activity—ranging from creative workshops and cookouts to games and community outings—all designed to encourage independence, boost confidence, and promote a sense of belonging. These events are free and open to people with disabilities. Come as you are and join a community that understands and uplifts one another!

Most of our peer support events take place at the Independence, Inc. office, but some are held at other locations—please be sure to check the event flyers and/or social media posts for full details on time and location.
