Spring has sprung in North Dakota and Independence, Inc. is celebrating with a delightfully tasty tradition! Learn how to create eatable May Day baskets while practicing convenience cooking skills by participating in our free virtual lesson on Thursday, April 29, 2021. The class will be held from 4:00-5:00 P.M. on the videoconferencing platform, Zoom.
Participants will be provided with ingredients, supplies, and step-by-step instruction. Cooking kits will be delivered to addresses in Minot City Limits. Participants outside of the area can arrange for pick-up at either Minot or Bottineau office locations.
Pre-registration is required as class space and supplies are limited. The registration deadline is Tuesday, April 20, 2021, or until spots are filled.

- Must identify as a person with a disability (physical disability, mental health condition, substance abuse disorder, chronic illness, degenerative disease, learning or cognitive disability, cancer, phobia, brain injury, or senior living with the effects of aging).
- Must reside within our 11 county service region (Bottineau, Burke, Divide, McHenry, McKenzie, Mountrail, Pierce, Renville, Rolette, Ward, and Williams).
Note: Supplies are intended for class use only. Registrants are expected to log-in and participate in the virtual activity via Zoom. If you receive a cooking kit and are unable to fulfill the participation requirement, you may be obligated to pay a fee of $12 to cover the cost of supplies or return the kit.
