Do you find yourself tasking a handy family member to change your furnace filter or contacting a professional every time your drain clogs? Join Independence, Inc. for an informative virtual workshop on routine maintenance and basic home repairs to save money. Participants will discover hacks to cut utility expenses and gain the confidence needed to perform common around-the-house fixes to prevent unnecessary service calls. The class will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, from 2:00-3:00 P.M. via Zoom. Attendees will receive a mini tool kit delivered to their doorstep.
The class is FREE and available to anyone age 8 or older with a physical disability, mental health condition, substance use disorder, cancer, degenerative disease, chronic illness, learning or cognitive disability, phobia, brain injury, or senior.
Each participant will receive a mini tool kit delivered to their home. Registration is required as class space and supplies are limited. The registration deadline is Monday, March 8th, or until spots are filled.

Note: Supplies are intended for class use only. Registrants are expected to log-in and participate in the virtual activity via Zoom. If you receive a tool kit and are unable to fulfill the participation requirement, you may be obligated to pay a fee of $12 to cover the cost of supplies or return the kit
