Donate to Independence, Inc.
At Independence, Inc, many of our programs and services could not exist without the contributions we receive from individuals, community organizations, foundations and businesses, Thank you for considering a donation to our organization.
Your gift will provide people with disabilities in northwest North Dakota access to resources through Independence, Inc. A tax-deductible donation is one way you can directly make a difference in your community.
Examples of what donations mean to our consumers:
- $100
- Underwrites the cost of six months of Independence Social Support group meetings.
- Supplies for a cooking class for one person during our skills training.
- Training in the use of public transportation (mobility training) for persons with disabilities.
- $500
- Covers the cost of Independence summer transition program for youth with disabilities.
- Covers the cost of providing educational opportunities within the community.
- $1,000
- Provides assistance with covering Independence’s Annual meeting which provides an important means for community recognition and achievement.
